Sizing and Fit Assistance

Finding the right size is crucial for a comfortable fit. To determine your correct size, please follow these steps:

  • Use Our Size Guide: Refer to our comprehensive size guide and measurements provided on our website. This guide offers specific sizing information for each product.

  • Measure Yourself: Take your measurements using a soft measuring tape. Measure your chest, waist, hips, and inseam according to the guidelines in the size guide.

  • Select the Closest Size: Choose the size that aligns most closely with your measurements. If your measurements fall between sizes, we recommend selecting the size that matches your largest measurement.

If you find yourself between sizes, don't worry. Here are some suggestions to help you handle sizing when you fall in between:

  • Larger Measurement Prevails: Choose the size that corresponds to your largest measurement. For example, if your chest measurement falls into one size and your hip measurement into another, opt for the size that accommodates the larger measurement.

  • Fitting of Bavarian Dirndl: Bavarian Dirndl are meant to be worn fitted and should hug your body like a warm embrace. Some of our models have a corset lacing to adjust the sizing.

  • Fitting of Bavarian Lederhosen: Did you know that Lederhosen have a unique ability to adapt to your body within certain limits? Over time, as you wear them, the leather trousers naturally stretch in areas where it's needed most. This means that with regular wear, your Lederhosen will continue to fit comfortably, even if you happen to gain a few extra kilos in weight. Keeping this in mind we recommend choosing a size closest to your measurement and don't go up. The fitting of the Lederhosen can, depending on the model, be adjusted with belt, suspender and/or lacing.

Product Care and Maintenance

Taking care of your Bavarian attire ensures its longevity and vibrant appearance. Here are some tips for proper care and maintenance:

General Care: Most of our products, except for Lederhosen, come with care labels. Always follow the care instructions provided with your attire.

  • Lederhosen Maintenance: Lederhosen, crafted from genuine leather, require special care. Do not machine wash them; instead, follow these steps:

    • Brush Off Dirt: After wearing, brush off any dirt or debris using a soft brush.
    • Air Out: Hang your Lederhosen in a well-ventilated area to freshen them up.
    • Store Properly: Store Lederhosen in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
    • Leather Care: Periodically, apply a leather conditioner to keep the leather supple and prevent drying or cracking.

Taking these steps will help preserve the quality and appearance of your Bavarian leather trousers.

As an online retailer, we don't have a physical store for trying on products. However, we provide detailed sizing guides to assist you in selecting the right size for your Bavarian attire. If you have any doubts about sizing or products, please don't hesitate to contact our customer support team for assistance.

For customers in London who need their Oktoberfest outfit urgently, we can arrange same-day delivery. Please note that the cost for delivery via a courier service like Uber or Addison Lee will be the responsibility of the customer. We recommend getting in touch with us, and we'll do our best to find the most suitable solution for your urgent needs. We also offer a convenient Order Pickup from our Clapham Depot or a Meeting Point at Clapham Junction. 

Methods of Payment and Shipment

Your order will be dispatched when payment is received. We accept the following methods of payment: Credit Cards, PayPal, ShopPay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Union Pay and Gift Cards from our shop.

Orders confirmed before 14:00 pm UK time will be dispatched to our delivery service provider on the same day. We work mostly with EVRI and Yodel. Orders received on Sunday will be dispatched on Monday.

We strive for a delivery within 2-3 days from the day you ordered, excluding weekends and bank holidays. After shipment, you will receive a tracking number via email to monitor your package's journey to your doorstep.

Our Urban Range products are manufactured in the country closest to the delivery address, ensuring a swift and efficient dispatch and delivery time. The average dispatch time for Urban Range products is 2-5 days.

Order Pickup & London Same-Day Delivery

At Bavari, we understand that our customers may have unique preferences when it comes to receiving their orders. That's why we offer a convenient Order Pickup option or London Same-Day Delivery to cater to your specific needs. Here's what you need to know:

  • How to choose this Option: To schedule your Pickup, your Local Same-Day Delivery, or seek further information about these options, please contact our customer support team at We're here to assist you and ensure a seamless experience. Your satisfaction is our priority. 
  • Curbside Pickup: You can opt for curbside pickup directly from our Clapham Depot. This location is easily accessible by car, allowing you to stop off the street for a quick and hassle-free pickup.

  • Meeting Point at Clapham Junction Station: For a central pickup location, we can arrange a meeting point at Clapham Junction Station, making it convenient for you to collect your order.

  • Adhoc Pickup: We understand that schedules can vary. With our adhoc pickup option, you can arrange pickup orders on a case-by-case basis. Simply get in touch with us, and we'll work out a suitable pickup time.

  • No extra Fees: When you choose our Pickup Option, you won't incur any delivery charges. This means you can enjoy the convenience of pickup without any extra costs.

  • Local Same-Day Delivery: For customers in London who urgently need their Oktoberfest outfit, we can arrange same-day delivery. Please note that the cost for delivery via a courier service like Uber or Addison Lee will be the responsibility of the customer. We recommend getting in touch with us, and we'll do our best to find the most suitable solution for your urgent needs.
  • Availability: Local Same-Day Delivery and Order Pickup options are convenient services we offer for our Bavarian Costumes Product Range. However, please note that their availability cannot be guaranteed 365 days a year and is subject to availability. To arrange for these services, please get in touch with our customer service.

  • Fulfilment Time: When these services are available, we aim for immediate fulfilment and handle these requests with the utmost urgency. We understand that there may be times when you need your Oktoberfest outfit urgently, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request when possible. Your satisfaction is our priority.
  • Check out: Please make sure that you choose "Pick Up" at Check out for both, Local Deliver or Pick Up, to avoid being charged standard Delivery Fees. Local Delivery Charges will be handled via PayPal or Bank Transfer, if you require us to book Uber. In case the Local Delivery Service Provider will be booked from you, no other fees will incur.

Shipping Costs

At Bavari, we provide reliable shipping services both within the United Kingdom and internationally. When your package is dispatched, you'll promptly receive a tracking number along with notifications regarding the status of your order.

Please note that while we take care of the safe dispatch of your order, any duties and import costs that may arise for international orders are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend checking with your local customs office for specific information regarding these potential charges.

When it comes to shipping costs, they can vary based on the weight of your package and its destination. You can easily determine the exact shipping costs for your purchase in the shopping cart before finalizing your order. Simply add your desired items to the shopping cart, select the shipping address, and you'll receive an accurate calculation of the shipping costs for those items.

Multiple purchases from the Bavarian Costumes Product Range can be consolidated into a single shipment as long as payment hasn't been completed, and shipping hasn't occurred. It's important to mention that the shipping of our Urban Range Products and Bavarian Costumes is handled separately, as they are stored in different depots. Consequently, these products cannot be consolidated into a single shipment. Rest assured, we're committed to ensuring your orders arrive promptly and safely.

Changing Your Order

Once your order is placed, we work diligently to ensure it's sent to you promptly. If you need to make any changes, please contact us as soon as possible. You can reach us via email at or utilize our Instant Messenger service available on this website.

Unfortunately, once the order has been dispatched, we cannot modify the delivery address. Please note that we won't reship your package if you were unable to collect it.

Returns Process

If you're not entirely satisfied with the goods you've received, we accept returns for refunds or exchanges within 14 days of delivery. You can return goods for a full refund of the purchase price within 14 days of receipt.

Once we receive your order, it will be inspected to ensure it meets our returns criteria. Upon approval, we will send you an email notification regarding your refund.

Refund & Processing Times

Typically, we process returns within 3-5 business days after the carrier delivers the item to our Returns Center. Once processed, you can choose to receive the refund via the original payment method or as a Gift Card balance.

Please allow additional time for your financial institution to make funds available in your account after the refund is issued. Refund Process Time typically takes 3-10 business days, depending on your financial provider. Gift card balances are issued by us on the same day.

If you're a Gift recipient, you can return your gift directly to us. Our return policy also applies to Gifts, with returns automatically handled via Gift Card Balance. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
